An invisible leash: Keep your umbrella by your side
The Davek Sensor™ uses proximity awareness technology to keep your umbrella by your side. Once activated, the sensor will sync to your phone within seconds after you pick up your umbrella. If the distance between your umbrella and your phone exceeds a certain range (~30 ft), the sensor will send a subtle alert to you. Never forget your umbrella again!
Setting it up is easy. Attach the sensor to your umbrella and download our free app onto your phone (via Apple App store or Google Play). Simply hold the umbrella near the phone for 10 seconds and turn the app on. The umbrella will automatically connect. You can easily turn the alert off or pause it for the day.
The sensor is powered from a standard CR2032 cell battery, available at any hardware or drugstore, and should last for more than a full year, depending on use. The battery is easily replaceable. We've designed the sensor to detect when the umbrella is in use and when it's not. If it's not in active use, it will go into battery-saving sleep-mode. The moment you pick it up, it awakens to pair to your phone.
